Our Journey Together
Will Thomas served in the 101st airborne 2/327 Scout Platoon and was deployed to Iraq in 2003 during the invasion of Iraq. Your Battle Budz team share many things in common other than combat experience such as the dream of owning their own cannabis business. This common dream led them to found Battle Budz and enter the Oklahoma cannabis market. We are a veteran-owned company and all of our cannabis is grown exclusively by us, your veterans. As veterans, we uniquely understand what cannabis can do for PTSD in the veteran community as well as combating opioid addiction in veterans and the general community as a whole. Cannabis can help many other ailments and the list is long, that is why we strive to grow the safest and cleanest naturally grown cannabis that God can provide.

After surgery for his injury, Will was astonished as almost every physician he had consulted immediately wanted to prescribe him opioids. Against this advice, Will decided to call his friend (Battle Budz) Clint and learn more about the benefits of cannabis. Besides chronic pain with his injury, Will had also been diagnosed with sleep apnea and PTSD both by the VA; and both of which cannabis can treat. As Will researched what Clint had given him material, links, studies, etc. Will realized this was a “calling”. Will decided to go back to school, not allowing his injury to control his life. Will graduated in 2018 with a BBA and cognate in communications, Delta Mu Delta with a 4.0 GPA, from Liberty University located in Lynchburg, VA.
After Will’s children graduated high school to pursue their own life dreams, Will sold his house in Georgia, minimized all his personal belongings, purchased a 5th wheel camper, and traveled the US. Will traveled to many states along the way, several that had legally state-approved cannabis both recreational and medical. Will learned a lot in the cannabis industry from various sources, contacts, and friends that he made along the way.
Clint and Will have been “Battle Budz” since first crossing paths in the service, they are still “Battle Budz”. Will credits Clint with helping him redirect his life to a path with much less stress and to receiving the proper medical care he needed to live life again fully.
During Will’s time at Liberty, he took many theology classes which helped him become more educated about Jesus and God’s grace for others. Will resides in Oklahoma now, with his dog “Dash” and Clint is his neighbor. When asked what means most in life he said “it’s simple, ensure that we live each day so the glory of God is seen through us just as stated in Matthew 5:16 (NKJV) “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven”

Will said, “love is a rare find in life and it’s fragile but sometimes if we are lucky, we find it twice”. Will said his soul belongs to Jesus but his heart, will “always remain near the Blue Ridge Georgia mountains or near a South Georgia farm”.
Clint and Will founded Battle Budz in 2020. They own and operate a full-time agriculture farm with livestock, a nursery, a cannabis growing farm (Harmony Farms Grow LLC), a merchandising store, and marketing company. Their goals are to make a direct impact within the cannabis industry, while both educating and helping people along the way.
